Research on IT-related job vacancies and provide supporting evidence for making a job application for a graduate position.
This assignment consists of 2 (TWO) important parts related to what you will learn in this module throughout this semester.
PART 1
The first part requires you to conduct a research on job vacancies in computing industry. Your research on IT-related job vacancies must be maximum on 5 different types of careers available in the computing industry. The job vacancies must be posted on a blog. Apart from that, you are also required to produce and attach a video resume on your blog (where you act as the job applicant – choose only one position from those advertised on your blog). Duration of your video resume should be between 2-3 minutes only.
- Job vacancies posted on blog (must include maximum of 5 vacancies/positions, requirements/selection criteria, detailed or brief explanation on job description(s), and any other additional information that is relevant to the job vacancy), and assessment on the blog itself (design,content, usability, user-friendliness, etc). → 40 marks.
- Video resume posted on blog → 10 marks.
